When I am cleaning an office and I find a paper clip under a desk and I am convinced it was put there to test me, I will spiral over what to do next.  Should I pick it up? Are they gonna come by in the morning and check for the paper clip? Will they call my boss if it's still there? 

I laugh at such paranoid thoughts. Who gives a whole pile of curse words if I'm being tested or watched!?!  The only one watching me right now is me.  I am watching me.  

So I pick up the paper clip.  It will clog the vacuum if I don't.
