I am actually open minded on this topic of a disked earth. Yet, I can say based on your response, I am not persuaded towards your conclusion of a disked earth. But I am highly in agreement with many if not most of your assumptions.

Let me explain one finger at a time. ;)

Psalm 96:10 says, “Say among the nations 'Adonai reigns!' The world is firmly established --- it will not move. He will Judge the peoples with fairness. ” The earth is secure under our feet BECAUSE the Lord rules. The sea respects its borders, the sun and moon and stars have their places of sovereignty, BECAUSE HE established what they are. But as light existed before the Sun, it shall exist after as well, for Light is He Who Created us!

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were made through Him, and apart from Him nothing was made that has come into being. IN HIM WAS LIFE AND THAT LIFE WAS THE LIGHT OF MEN. THE LIGHT SHINES IN THE DARKNESS, AND THE DARKNESS HAS NOT OVERPOWERED IT.” ~JOHN 1:1-5 TLV (emphasis mine)

Light, the Son of God, existed before the Sun, emanating from His Being, from which life is derived. It is, in Tolkien's terms, “the flame imperishable ”. The Sun, even though it should exist in outer void, is NOT the source of light of life. And anyone who has travelled in the void of what is called “outer space ” has only found the void and has set aside the protection of God's Good Earth. The ultimate end of every man who ventures outside the protection of God's first heaven, what we call the sky, is premature aging and disease. In Tolkien's Silmarillion, Melkor looked to find the “flame imperishable ” in the void. It wasn't there for it was with Eru Illúvatar. Of course it was! Even as the Son and the Spirit are with the Father from eternity. After this Created heaven and earth is replaced by a New Heaven and a New Earth, there will be no more need of the Sun, for the Glory of God and the Lamb shall be it's light. Revelation 21:22-27. What's interesting is that up until this New Heaven and New Earth, God's covenant with the sun and moon will not fail even as His Covenant with Israel as His People will not fail, for all time. Jeremiah 31:34-36.

I agree and appreciated your point of view WRT Magic Spells. God has given to man what is good, and the limits of his domain.

Originally, science and scientific inquiry was for the purpose of observing, classification and seeking to understand God's creation. It was in a spirit of humble obedience to God's charge to man in Genesis 1:26b-30.

But the spirit and purpose of pride has corrupted our counsel from the time we took from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Hence we seek that which is NOT our domain, and of that which IS our domain, we seek to rule of our own accord, and not by God's. God told us, “fill the land and conquer it.” ~Genesis 1:28 and again in Genesis 9:1 God says, “fill the land ”. Whereas we are given dominion over the beasts, birds and fish and over all that crawls, we are not to establish footholds in the seas, and, especially, in the heavens. Such, whether derived by sorcery or ”engineering” is witchcraft. It is seeking to go beyond our dominion into God's dominion.

Let me establish a common framework for clarification and consistency. God speaks of three heavens in Scripture. The first heaven is what we call sky. The second is the heavenlies which Paul refers to in Ephesians 6:12c. The third heaven is the throne of God referred to in Isaiah 66:1 and Matthew 5:34. We are not given dominion in any of the Heavens. We have invaded the first heaven and have sent items and people into the void above the sky, which, in effect, is still part of the first heaven. Even for a man as I am who is still persuaded in the astronomical presence of the Sun and the Moon as most scientific books would describe them, every place above our physical world is the first heaven. To venture into the void is foolishness the level of Psalm 14. Even the Wright's aeroplane was a work of witchcraft along the lines of Nostradamus and Da Vinci. The Tower of Babel proves just because man CAN do something does not mean he should or even has the God given right to try. So we have sent hurtling pieces of machinery out into the void of “space”. Men and machine has gone as far as the moon. What I find interesting is we haven't gone back! Why? Yet, it's still just the first heaven, that which God did NOT give as our dominion. We are coming up to a payday of “cosmic” proportions. It has almost been 120 years since the Wright's. I agree mankind has been Mesmerized by the spectacle while destruction we have rained from the skies. Yo mentioned Werner Von Braun. The way I see it, the West and the East blocks defeated Nazi Germany and were each taken over by it's corpse.

That raises interesting potentials. I agree mind control has been employed since WWII keeping the sheep sedated. But disinformation is the most important part of any psy-op. Kool-Aid for the Kool-Aid drinkers is accompanied with kooky cookies for the kooks. One will not know with complete certainty where most of the commonly accepted “facts” lie. One doesn't need to. My faith does not depend on whether the U.S. completed the Moon landings. I am inclined to believe it on account of the testimonies of NASA astronauts who are Christian. I had watched, since I was here, a interview of the LEM Pilot for Apollo 17 conducted by a Christian Pastor of good reputation. One of the 12 men reputed to have landed on and returned from the moon. I believe Frank Bowman, Commander of Apollo 8 was a Christian. BUT, a lot of those guys, as well as spooks and “national security” types ARE Freemasons. So, one can not be sure. (If I were out, I would closely examine the interview I mentioned. Is that something you have looked into?) But whether or not the Moon Landings were hoaxed, the world can yet be, in it's physical form, a globe. My faith is not dependent on that either. What something is in it's outward physical form doesn't dictate what it actually is. Earth is the habitat and dominion of man, or, at least it was before the fall. It shall take the second advent of the Son of Man to bring it back to God's intended purpose. “He comes to make His blessings flow far as the curse is found. ” “Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.” So, for the thousand years, mentioned six times in Revelation 20, verse 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, when Christ rules in Jerusalem, Zechariah 14:8-9, (confirmed by Jesus when He called Jerusalem “the City of the Great King” Matthew 5:35 --- Psalm 2, 110, Ezekiel 44-48, Isaiah 9:5-6, 11, Micah 4 et al affirm this Messianic age), God's purpose for the Earth, the Sun, the Moon, the sea, the stars is all finally completed. His purpose for Israel as His People will likewise be completed. Then the New Heaven and the New Earth when there will be neither marriage nor giving in marriage.

I know you have hardened your opinion against Scripture's teaching on the Kingdom of Heaven/Messianic Kingdom. I am not attempting to provoke you by my line of reasoning. I see a distinctive trust on your part in your reasons for the certainty of Scripture meaning what it says. Yet, with the historical grammatical hermeneutical principal, for the writer of Scripture to pen, “the Sun stands still”, this idiomatic expression is still used today. Genesis 1 recounts the creation of the world in six literal days for the repetition of, “and there was evening, and there was morning, the # day”. Likewise, repeating the thousand years in Revelation 20 establishes that as a literal amount of time Christ will reign on the Earth and we His Bride with Him. But to say the Sun stood still neither Biblically sanctions a flat Earth nor excludes it's possibility.

An interesting fact for me is that whether you or I are right, Jerusalem is the center of the surface of the Earth and it's domination by foreign powers is part of the devil's plan to dominate God's Earth. Except for the Garden of Eden (where in the prediluvian world a river ran out from there which became four great rivers), MelechTzadik's rule of Salem in Abraham's day, and when Abraham was offering Isaak, when David took it from the Jebusites and set the place for Solomon's Temple at Arunah's Threshing Floor. From then and until the Babylonian captivity, and then again from Zerubabbel to the destruction of the Temple by Titus, it was the centre of Judaism. Since then the nations have dominated the Temple Mount as a demonstrated arrogance against God, His People and His Anointed. He WILL have His Way in the end. And Living Water will once again flow. Zechariah 14.

The Hebrew calendar is based originally on twelve 30 day months, this from the Babylonian calendar. I had heard expressed that, the world originally would have been with no tilt to its axis. In that time 12 thirty day months would have constituted a year. After the deluge, the Babylonian calendar still reflected this and the Hebrew would have borrowed from it, or visa-versa. The deluge also began the after effect of a roughly 365.24 day solar year and a 29.5 day lunar month. This fits into speculation I would term plausible.

Also, the firmament, the “waters above”, would have hyper-oxygenated the atmosphere accounting for the long life spans and the fact the animals were not for food until after the flood. The “fear of man” would have entered the beasts with their deprivation of oxygen. This also seems highly plausible to me.

The six days of Creation, up until now six thousand years of Human history, the “day is like a thousand years” of Psalm 90, the “After two days He will revive us. On the third day He will raise us up, and we will live in His Presence, ” of Hosea 6:2 suggests, in the light of Israel's physical presence in the Land an imminent return of Yeshua to His People.

You may think I am going off topic but it is all related when I am seeking to express my point of view. At around the time of the race to the moon, there began a new kind of popular form of entertainment called 'Science Fiction'. Lost in Space gave way to Star Trek. The notions are completely unscientific and should be termed Unscientific Fantasy. I am with you on these shows being mind control propaganda. They even featured mind control in their plots and devices.

By contrast, much termed 'Fantasy', especially Tolkien's works, should be called 'Mythical Fiction'. There is much in Tolkien's works that affirms a Biblical world view without allegory. Good is good. Right is right. Truth is truth. Light is light. Evil is evil and darkness is darkness.

The quest to dethrone God has been as old as the fall, caused the flood, struck out in the Tower of Babel, and has been employed in every occultic preoccupation of Man since. But it picks up steam in the Renaissance, and explodes in the age of enlightenment. Darwinism, Freud, and a lot of the philosophy and scientific pursuits of late 18th and 19th centuries, along with a weakening in the regard by intelligentsia for the veracity of God's Word begins a spiral out of control. The whole scientific question of whether or not to build the bomb shows how amok and askew man had become. I see the space race as mostly a rocket and engineering bake-off, Sumo wrestling match. The propaganda surrounding that time was used to mire the world, even Believers in Christ, in controversy and contention that did not have to and should not have happened. We were confused, our confidence shaken, our courage undermined. Most of modern propaganda and entertainment does the same. Questions as to whether the Earth is flat or not can be it's own unnecessary distraction.

For me, I have confidence in God thru His Word. The fact of the revival of the Biblical State of Israel in modern times shows God's Sovereign authority and His faithfulness to His promises. The miraculous victory of the Israeli State in it's War of Independence and Six Day War goes to show God still performs miracles. His Will be Done! I will hold what I have to say about that there. Sufficient to say, God's plan of personal salvation was and is finished in Jesus, so all who call upon Him as Risen Lord will be saved. His People will factor into the next phase of Human History.

Back to the topic at hand. I have noticed the full moon rises almost straight overhead in the winter, whereas the waxing or waning crescent will follow a southern ecliptic. In the summer, opposite is true. Fall/Spring more even for both. What is the flat Earth model to explain that? It makes perfect sense with a globe.

You didn't address solar eclipse. The fact a Solar eclipse is only found on Earth and it's necessary dimensions for it to work demonstrates to Creation skeptics God's Handiwork.

What about the spy satellites that go over the poles?

The Space Station in low Earth Orbit?

I have flown London Heathrow to Chicago O'Hare and spotted the southern tip of Greenland. My horizon was closer to 200 miles than a thousand. Same coming up to Chicago. We flew almost directly down Lake Michigan.

I could see both sides of the lake. Not Hudson's Bay or the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

When I flew Minneapolis to Detroit, the plane was over the northern tip of the City of Green Bay. I could see South to the Southern shore of Lake Winnebago at Fond due Lac. Again, closer to the 200 miles.

I find the topic interesting and have an open mind about it. I know we are being lied to by the powers that be SO MUCH! Also, the coming world government's conventions on Antarctica and Space are intriguing. I find it easy to believe they are up to no good.

Sola Dei Gloria!

The poem is nearing final completion. I am assigning 23 February as it's official complete date.

I would not yet have mentioned it but it is germane to the topic.

After seeing your art I see a kindred nonconformist with a heathy helping of intellectual insurrection on the side. We don't agree but I would say we see eye to eye on the important stuff and can appreciate where the other is coming from.

The main reason I covered the topic how I did was to illustrate my world view and how I derived. My coming to prison helped me to discover God as the true Source of myself, my Strength, and my Courage AND Conviction. But the paradigm shift needed to come to the point of view of reading the Word and letting it stand for itself and explain itself by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. All the Hebrew Feasts an Moadim have been fulfilled in the same order at the right time so far. I don't see why God won't continue to do so. We're getting pretty close to Trumpets! “The trumpet will sound . . .”.

So, never fear. Our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. So stay alert! By your questioning attitude, I see you doing that. And that's the main thing. Keep looking up! Our Salvation is at hand!

O, and lastly, about Tolkien. In the cataclysmic fall of Númenor (which was an Atlantis story), the world is diminished in that the Undying Realms were removed from the circle of the world. Even, I see, as the Tree of Life and the Ark of the Covenant are lost. But only lost to THIS physical realm. They will be restored at the right time. And I think Tolkien was going that way too, that after the Dagor Dagoroth when Melkor returns, there would be a renewal in the Final Music of Ilúvatar.

You brought up several proofs of the globe earth model: the orbit of the moon, solar eclipses, satellites, and the International Space Station. I can respond to each but not just yet.

What matters more than knowing the actual shape of the earth is knowing we've been lied to. On a grand scale. By our own authorities. What is even more important to know is that obedience to a lie no matter how innocent it may seem is always deadly to our conscience.

My first memory of obeying a lie occurred way back in kindergarten. My teacher Mrs. Hubbard gathered us kids on the carpet and announced that our next project would be to write letters to Santa Claus and that she would make sure the letters got to him. My parents had correctly taught me that Santa isn't real--he's just a tradition--so I raised my hand to correct my teacher.

"Mrs. Hubbard! Mrs. Hubbard!" I called out without waiting to be called on.

"Santa isn't--" she cut me off.

"No, no," she said. "Today we are writing letters to Santa Claus."

I protested a second time, she cut me off a second time, and then I understood that the truth was not welcome here. At that point I could have screamed or somehow refused to participate with the lie but instead I consented. I shut up and played along.

Mrs. Hubbard continued with the instructions and handed out the construction paper. I felt foolish participating but everyone else was doing it, especially the girl I liked, and I didn't want my friend's parents to be angry at me for telling their children the truth, so I played along. I pulled out my pencil, thought like a materialist, and wrote "football" on my list. This memory has haunted me ever since. Why did I play along?

I have heard it said that if a childhood memory recurs for years afterward, then it is unresolved, and you will gain much wisdom when it is resolved.

A couple months back I realized this memory haunted me all these years because it was my first "Three Men In The Fiery Furnace" moment and I failed miserably. And since I specifically remember looking at the girl I liked as I went along to get along, this was a "Garden of Eden" moment for me as well. I let the dance of Christmas cheer and fear guide my thoughts and actions so that I consented to the lie of writing a "prayer letter" to the make believe "idol" of Santa Claus, even going so far as wondering in my heart if I had been naughty or nice that year.

Whereas the threat of death in a fiery furnace could not get the three young men in Daniel chapter 3 to worship Nebuchadnezzar's idol, all it took me to worship Santa Claus was the fear of breaking the enjoyment of lying to children.

Why do parents and teachers lie to children in the first place?

Kit Knightly writing for Off-Guardian says of the power of lies,

"You can never control people with the truth, because the truth has an existence outside yourself that cannot be altered or directed. It may be the truth itself that controls people, not you. You can never force people to obey rules that make sense, because they may be obeying reason, not your force. True power lies in making people afraid of something that does not exist, and making them abandon reason in the name of protecting themselves from the invented threat. To guarantee you have control, you must make people see things that are not there, make people live in a reality you build around them, and force people to follow arbitrary, contradictory rules that change day by day."

George Orwell wrote in 1984,

"Not merely the validity of experience, but the very existence of external reality was tacitly denied by their philosophy. The heresy of heresies was common sense."

There are many reasons why authorities lie. But a better question to ask is, "When your observations of the real world differ from what the authorities say, do you pay attention to what the authorities tell you or do you adhere to your own observations, experience, and conscience?"

On that day in kindergarten I paid attention to the authority of my teacher and the fear of imagined angry parents instead of to my own conscience. And if I evaluate the 30 years of my life after that leading up to my imprisonment at 35, I could bore you with examples of me doing the same thing over and over again. I developed a lifelong habit of not standing up for my conscience. I would go along to get along and throw excuses and justifications at my protesting conscience. I still struggle with this today because old habits die hard.

My kindergarten Santa experience was in a public school setting. After that I attended a private Lutheran school for first and second grade. My subconscious was even less happy with that for some reason. Let me share with you another early childhood memory, this one of a dream I had while attending that school.

In the second grade I dreamt that the fourth graders wanted to cut my head off with a guillotine. French Revolution style. They had brought the guillotine with them into the second grade classroom and were approaching me with it. At this point in the dream I realized I was dreaming and knew what I had to do because I had developed a tactic for waking up from nightmares. I would blink my eyes. Blinking my dream eyes would make my real eyes open and I would see my familiar bedroom and know that I was awake.

I used this tactic on the fourth graders with the guillotine but it did not work. My real eyes remained shut and the fourth graders kept approaching. I resorted to plan B. I reached down into the lower right hand corner of the dream and tore the dream apart beginning with the carpet. I moved on to the wooden slats ripping them up to reveal bright white light beneath, like shiny white typing paper reflecting back the sunlight, and then I woke up.

This dream has haunted me ever since but it has a very simple explanation. When society is out to kill me, which is what society is doing when they want me to believe a lie, no solution is too crazy for getting out. Simple as that.

There are three main ways of "getting out" from under a liar's spell:

1) Fight

2) Flight

3) Freeze

Everyone uses a mixture of all three three tactics with one dominating in each of us. I am a freezer. When I am my true self and not going along to get along, I stand in the face of evil, call it a liar, and move on with my life. I am not a fighter or a flier, and I know this because I envy both. I can't envy what I am. Also the feedback I have received from people over the years is that they are surprised to see me laugh at the same things they were afraid of.

Laughing at evil is a characteristic of a freezer. Martin Luther must have been a freezer as well because when faced with the devil's lies, he said, "...often it is with a fart that I chase him away”. Farting at the devil is definitely a freezer's tactic.

I am not advising people go against their dominant instincts. Fighters should fight and fliers should fly and well rounded individuals do all three well.

I think the first step to doing all three well is mastering your dominant tactic. Master standing up to lies in the way that is most natural to you first, and then branch out into what is less familiar. Looking back at my life, I can see that non-participation is the theme that defined my life during those times when I was living most truly to myself.

In high school one friend called our group of friends "The Dregs" and it stuck. In college a new friend in my new group of friends called us "The Dirty Kids" and it stuck. My choices in friendships had already revealed what type of person I was before I had the self-awareness to know that I am a non-participant.

And that is what Christians are! For as long as the devil is the Prince of this World, we Christians must be either non-participant freezers (like stoic German Lutherans), or protesting fighters (like the Baptists), or homesteading fliers (like the Amish).

Fast forward to 2018. I was deep into politics at this time but was growing less satisfied by the day. I always knew America lied but I thought it was to help me. "Matters of National Security" is the go to excuse for government lies, and this makes it sound like they are lying to protect me. But the more I got into politics, the more I realized they were lying to protect themselves and to control my mind.

My first hint was 9/11. It is an inside job. The details of how they did it don't matter. It is provably a false flag operation perpetrated by Americans against America.

Once I realized this I also realized that any politician who goes with the official narrative for 9/11 is lying to me. Even if they don't know it is a lie--even the politicians I liked! Meanwhile I couldn't help but ask what else my favorite politicians were lying about, or at best, completely unaware of.

After a deeper dive into the fundamentals of politics and government, I realized they were lying about space, landing on the moon, and the shape of the earth. My "Aha!" moment here was realizing that they don't just lie to make us afraid. They also lie to control our hopes and dreams. Once I realized this, I had to cut all ties with politics. I had put so much of my hope energy into it and now I could see it was no better than throwing my hope in the trash.

God renews hope through repentance! He restores us to live a new life!

My goal moving forward is to live my life in this world of lies as one who is merely tenting here. No more going along to get along! Some Christians glorify God by fighting this world, others by flying from it. I do so by freezing. I stare liars in their face and fart.

Speaking of lies, let me get to those 'proofs' for the globe you mentioned.

You brought up the orbit of the moon, solar eclipses, satellites, and the International Space Station. Allow me a brief moment to lift my leg at each.

1) The Orbit Of The Moon

The Moon can be observed to rise and set at significantly different locations on the horizon (as compared to the Sun) from night to night. This is because the Moon moves back and forth between the Tropics of Capricorn and Cancer in one month whereas the Sun takes a full year to make this cycle. This works on both a flat stationary earth model with a local and smaller Sun and Moon as well as on a globe model so it does not prove either.

2) Solar Eclipses

We are told solar eclipses occur when the Moon passes between the earth and the Sun and casts a shadow on the Sun, lining up perfectly like three machine cut billiard balls. The anthropomorphic principle draws on this anomaly because the coincidental nature of it declares the handiwork of a Designer, and I agree with that.

I don't agree that this anomaly is caused by a shadow of a globe Moon on a globe Sun's surface. The Moon for example is never observed approaching or leaving the Sun during a solar eclipse. All we see is a dark shadow body with no characteristics that prove it is the moon. The shadow could be caused by Rahu or Ketu, or it could be the Moon, but not a globe Moon. The shadow on the Sun during a solar eclipse, just like on the Moon during a lunar eclipse, is a perfect "cookie bite" shape the entire time. The shadow of a sphere onto a sphere is parabolic and the angle of curvature changes with movement. Whatever causes solar eclipses is not the interaction of three globes in space. Eclipses do not work on a globe model and therefore disprove it.

Further study of the moving lights in thy sky leads one to conclude that the only thing we can say about them is that they are moving lights. They follow a set pattern and serve as a clock. But we cannot go up to them to observe them more closely.

3) Satellites

You are in prison so I will Google this for you.

If this is all easily searchable on Google, I wonder what isn't easily searchable...

4) The International Space Station

The footage we receive from the ISS is so full of errors and anomalies that it cannot be trusted as the source of anything but lies. This is best proven by examining ISS footage, which is difficult from prison, but if you could, you would find green screen glitches, astronauts fading out, astronauts getting tangled in invisible wires, an astronaut reaching for a floating lemon that fades out when he grabs it, ladies with stiff hair-sprayed hair that doesn't naturally float at all, and other mistakes. NASA is using augmented reality, zero-G planes, green screen technology, and "wire fu" to fake it. So are the other space agencies. They all fake it.

In conclusion, I don't want any more failed "Three Men In The Fiery Furnace" moments in my life. I'm done worshiping NASA's space dicks and boob planets. At the moment I am mastering my ability to freeze in the face of lies. My goal is to be well rounded in my ability to fight, fly, and freeze in the face of lies. To God's glory.

O Pride of Man, upon what shalt thou plead?

Ye “stand for peace ” --- at least, thou sayest so;

Sola Dei Gloria!

The poem IS timely for the topic at hand. The Truth ultimately belongs to God. God's Word is Truth. Jesus is God's Word. Jesus testifies to the Truth. Jesus IS Truth! And the Truth, Jesus, is the same yesterday, today and forever! A curse upon Israel, who God calls His People, His son, and identifies WITH His Son, touches the apple of His eye.

As for a disked earth, the position of Antarctica DOES have an auspicious position where the walls of night could appear. That being said, I am keeping my position open-minded with an eye to consideration. But it is still, in my estimation small compared to the Truth of Jesus as God's Son, the ONLY Way, Truth and Life through which we come to the Father; Christ crucified as the only atoning sacrifice whereby Salvation can be bought for mankind; His resurrection, as the Firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep, guaranteeing that all who trust in Him shall rise as He did to everlasting glorious life; the Scriptures as God's Word; Israel as God's People, the apple of God's eye, the Bride of the Father who He shall reconcile with when Messiah comes; the Nations as one race derived from one blood; the Church, as the bride of Christ, through which in the last two thousand years God's Word has been conveyed to the Nations ---- all of which have been centrally attacked by ha-satan, the father of lies to the spite of the Father and the consternation and detriment to mankind. Liberal theologians as the gatekeepers to the flock, ultimately have let down the Shepherd. They have scattered the flock even as the princes, priests and prophets of Israel and Judah let God down. But God gave His Son for Israel, and the Spirit to comfort you and me. The Spirit of Prophesy has mostly been sealed up to our time. If there is something to the disked Earth it is as a sign to our times for the eyes of the blind to open. But, if we shall see, let us not miss out on the BIG PICTURE.

DE-bunked, Answers in Genesis, One For Israel, Amir Tsarfati's Behold Israel, are some good places to start. There was another apologetics site I had told you of when I was on the outside that featured in depth seminary level defenses of the authenticity and historicity of the Gospels and the rest of God's Word.

As to Santa, I guess, in my childhood I distinguished between make believe and reality. At least after the initial let down concerning Santa not being real. I can see, for instance, the spirit of Santa COULD, in a sense, have a quasi-reality in that many wink at and go along with the notion. Much more serious is how the let-down from finding out Santa is a make believe persona affects many children. Let's face it, a jolly elf who brings you presents is going to win a popularity contest with the baby Jesus. So much more can be said of that. I guess Santa as a game of make believe never was a searing of my conscience. But it can have ramifications when presented as the truth. And that's what I think both of us are saying.

So many people, perhaps most, are wired to wishful thinking. It is very distinct from optimism. It is emotional. And logic breaks down or is never employed. I had my most recent celly, a black man in his forties, who otherwise appeared a decent man, accuse me of racism because I asserted, based on Historical research citing original sources, Lincoln was not near so much a threat to the institution of slavery that the south saw him as. His platform was to curtail it's expansion in the territories. For this he didn't even appear on ballots in most southern states. If South Carolina and the rest of the South had not seceded, he would not have issued his emancipation proclamation. He wouldn't have likely ended slavery but for the Civil War. Now I made it clear I oppose slavery. But the topic is so emotionally charged one can't touch it with so many people who have become the products of wishful thinking. They are literally living in a fairy land. This is definitely the work of ha-satan! By it seeds of division are down that undermines the Truth from being seen as God's Loving Word!

The Way of the Master is one method that can be used to reach almost all people. Man is mortal and there lies the way to reach him.

I never held with the theory of evolution. A God as Creator always came as more credible than billions of accidents coming together. What bugged me was the Christians, including some in my family (my Dad and Brother-in-law) who entertained the notion of God guiding the process of evolution, or that the six days of creation may actually have been six aeons. Jesus wipes that notion out when He talks about Sabbath as God's gift made for man, not man for the Sabbath. I am glad to have Answers in Genesis on the local TV station.

The prevailing winds and currents are still a sticking point regarding a disked earth. The fact north of the equator water will cycle counter clockwise, and south of the equator clockwise. Just saying. It came to me while thinking of it. But don't want to miss the forest through the trees.

I TOTALLY resonate with your assertion that the most important thing is the VERY truth.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life. No one can come to the Father except through Him. Jesus is the Light that shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. Jesus is Love that redeemed the world unto God.

Ever since a child, the Truth has haunted my countenance. I have, since a young age, been impressed that only the VERY truth, defined by what ACTUALLY IS, can be considered right. As I became a man and passed the mental capability to think critically, I became aware of the tools necessary to evaluate facts and hold the WORD, as well as the powers that be, accountable.

When early in my life I was disserved by so called apologists in main line denominations who said the Bible, the Gospel, the facts of Jesus and His ministry, as well as historical facts related to the Bible, must simply be accepted by faith as they could not be logically or empirically proven or demonstrated. The mishmash of the church's view on prophecy made it also distinctly disadvantageous to seek to lend any weight upon what the Bible said. I asked myself, “What good is the Word if it only means what these guys say it means and not what it actually says?” Particularly bothersome was all these references to Israel, Jerusalem and a coming Kingdom of God that teachers assured me were poetic references and flowery representation of something we are unsure of what it actually means, but Jesus WILL come one day and we will know what it means then. I thought to myself, what's the point of telling us if we will only be at a loss? But, I remained at a loss. I questioned my faith and life and what any of it meant. It wasn't until my brother-in-law walked me through Romans 9-11 that I first started to see the Bible meant Israel when it said Israel that I could begin to see the Bible actually says what it means and means what it says. I learned the Historical Grammatical hermeneutic principal. I also began to listen to Christian apologists who could demonstrate the verifiable facts of Jesus life, death and resurrection, and so many more. The verifiability and historicity of the Word of God, the principles and historical facts as to how the New Testament canon and the Hebrew Scriptures (TANACH) came about and why is it not only reliable but lends credence to a display of God's Hand in History. The people putting forward these were Evangelicals. I also got my first taste of the Power of God and the Love of God. I knew I had been lied to, that God and His Word were sold short. But, along the way I came to accept a few bad potentials, like maybe it isn't important to accept that Genesis 1-11, especially 1 and two are literally meant by God as facts. Since coming here, I have been blessed to watch and take in Answers In Genesis. The shows demonstrate the historicity and empirical evidence for a young earth and it's importance to the Gospel. Sin had to enter the Earth before death for a Saviour to be necessary

I could go on here, but I mostly need to say I too am a freezer as you described. I will pause and not find it necessary to either accept or reject the notion of a flat or disked Earth. I am a little bit more entertaining of the potential than I was before. But I don't see it as important. Given my limitations on what sources I can access, I will probably not change my thought on that. But what's most important is God and His Word are demonstrably true. The prejudice against God, resurrections, the flood, miracles and the notion of a Creator are the reasons most will refuse to accept the Truth about these things. Apologetically, I see demonstrating the facts of the Resurrection as the best starting point. Lee Stroeble's THE CASE FOR CHRIST is an excellent place to start. I don't mind you talking to me about disk Earth, but I suggest that, when offering the Truth, the fact that Jesus death, burial and resurrection is the most verifiable fact of History is the best place to start when offering a defense for the faith.

I came to embrace the millennium, also known as the Messianic Kingdom, after I recognized the fallacy of replacement theology. It took me longer to come to a firm belief in the pre-tribulation rapture of the Church. If I had come to the firm belief ten years sooner, I probably would not be here. It would have given me hope. Recognition that I should be ready for Christ's return rather than trying to figure out who the antichrist is, or be worried about having to survive when the whole earth is forced to bear the mark, that would have given me peace, and I may not have despaired.

Well . . .

Better late than never, eh? And God had to allow this so He could get the glory! We ARE heroes in the likeness of He Who IS the Greatest Hero! But, sometimes He must move us aside and do it Himself!

I am still a freezer. In the face of fellow prisoners who believe the lying liars that lie in wait with their lying lies, I simply don't accept the report or even the premise. It gets me in trouble because I simply cannot accept a false defamatory report and if anyone asks, I have to speak the Truth. These emotionally programmed sheep, I pity, but am frustrated to no end!

More to be said later. On all important things, I am right with you!
